On 23, 24 and 25 June, it was a pleasure to address the children in years 4,5 & 6 at Erskineville Primary School on refugees and human rights, drawing on my personal and professional experience.
Thank you to my granddaughter Emily, a student at that school, and my son Alexander for helping prepare the attached PowerPoint for the presentation for the students.
All students were very interested in the story and asked many pointing questions. They already have solid knowledge of the definition of a refugee and of basic human rights.
Thanks to the Erskineville Primary School for the invitation. It was good to share my story with young people.
